How to connect Hospitable to Radius

How to connect your Hospitable account to Radius, import your properties as listings, and keep each listing's calendar in sync. The sync is one-way — Radius never changes anything on Hospitable.

TL;DR: Connecting Hospitable to Radius pulls in all of your Hospitable properties — not just Airbnb — and keeps each listing's calendar availability in sync automatically. You connect once, choose which properties to import as Radius listings, and Radius reads your availability from Hospitable so your dates stay accurate and you're never double-booked. The sync is one-way: Radius never changes anything in your Hospitable account.

Who this is for: 🏠 Host

Overview

If you manage your accommodations in Hospitable, you can connect it to Radius and bring your properties across in a few clicks. This is the Hospitable connection on your Integrations page — the direct property-management sync that pulls every property you manage in Hospitable, across every channel (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, and more) — not just Airbnb.

Once connected, Radius reads your availability from Hospitable so each Radius listing's calendar reflects the stays you've booked on your other channels. When a stay is booked, changed, or cancelled, those dates are blocked on Radius automatically, so the same nights can't be double-booked. The connection is read-only: Radius pulls from Hospitable to keep your Radius listings current and never writes anything back to Hospitable or your connected channels.

🏠 Host: This is the easiest way to get your full portfolio onto Radius. You stay in control of which properties you import and you can turn calendar sync on or off per property at any time.

How it works — step-by-step

1. Before you start

You'll need a Hospitable account with your properties already set up there. Radius connects to whatever you manage in Hospitable, so make sure the channels and properties you want on Radius are connected on the Hospitable side first.

🏠 Host: Already using the Airbnb integration on Radius (powered by Hospitable Connect)? You can switch to the full Hospitable connection — see "I already use the Airbnb integration" under Common situations below before you start.

2. Open Integrations and connect Hospitable

In your Radius host dashboard, go to Integrations. Find the Hospitable row — described as "Direct PMS sync via Hospitable's Partner API" — and click Connect.

🏠 Host: Make sure you're on the Hospitable row, not the separate Airbnb row. The Hospitable row is the one that pulls all of your properties across every channel.

3. Authorize Radius on Hospitable

Clicking Connect sends you to Hospitable to sign in and grant Radius permission to read your properties and calendars. Once you approve, Hospitable sends you back to Radius and your connection shows as Connected.

🏠 Host: If you're already signed in to Hospitable, this is just a quick "Allow" — you won't need to re-enter your password.

4. Pull in your properties

Back on the Integrations page, click Manage on the Hospitable row to open your Hospitable Properties list. Radius starts pulling your properties automatically right after you connect; if the list is empty, click Refresh from Hospitable to fetch it.

🏠 Host: Every property you manage in Hospitable appears here with its name, photo, and channel. Nothing is imported yet — this is just the menu you choose from. You can click Refresh from Hospitable any time you add a new property in Hospitable.

5. Import the properties you want as Radius listings

For each property you want on Radius, click Import as Listing. Radius creates a draft listing pre-filled from Hospitable — title, address, capacity, photos, and amenities. You only import the properties you choose; leave the rest unimported and they stay off Radius.

🏠 Host: Import is per property, so you're in full control of what goes live. The imported listing starts as a draft — it isn't visible to companies or guests until you finish and publish it.

6. Finish and publish each listing

A draft brought in from Hospitable still needs a few Radius-specific details before it can go live — your pricing, cancellation policy, house rules, and anything Radius couldn't map from Hospitable. Click Complete Listing on the property to finish it, then publish.

🏠 Host: Walk through the same listing setup as any Radius listing — see How to list your property on Radius in Related articles. Once published, the property is bookable on Radius and its calendar keeps syncing from Hospitable.

7. How ongoing sync works

After a property is imported and linked, Radius keeps its calendar in step with Hospitable on its own. When a stay is booked, changed, or cancelled on any of your connected channels, Radius refreshes that property's availability so the dates are blocked here and the listing can't be double-booked. You can also force a refresh whenever you like with the Refresh from Hospitable and Sync Calendar buttons.

🏠 Host: Each property has a Calendar Sync setting you can turn On or Off. Turn it Off for any property whose availability you'd rather manage by hand in Radius — its calendar freezes at its last-synced state and Radius stops pulling that one.

💡 Good to know: Sync is one-way (Hospitable → Radius). Radius reads your availability to keep your listings current and never changes anything on Hospitable or your connected channels. Radius syncs your availability — the open and blocked dates — not the underlying reservations, so guests booked elsewhere don't appear as Radius bookings.

Common situations

I already use the Airbnb integration

The Airbnb row (powered by Hospitable Connect) syncs Airbnb only, while the Hospitable row syncs your full portfolio across all channels. You can use one or the other — connecting Hospitable replaces the Airbnb-only connection, and Radius will ask you to confirm the switch before it does. Your already-imported listings stay; they simply move to syncing through the Hospitable connection.

A property isn't showing up

If you just added a property in Hospitable, click Refresh from Hospitable to pull the latest list. New properties aren't imported automatically — they appear in your Hospitable Properties list so you can choose whether to import them.

I want to manage one listing's calendar myself

Turn that property's Calendar Sync setting to Off. Its calendar freezes at the last-synced state and you manage availability by hand in Radius from then on. Turn it back On any time to resume syncing from Hospitable.

Disconnecting Hospitable

Click Disconnect on the Hospitable row. Your imported listings stay on Radius, but they stop syncing — availability no longer updates from Hospitable until you reconnect. To resume, connect again and your properties sync from where they left off.

Connecting from Hospitable instead

You can also start from Hospitable's app marketplace and choose Radius there. You'll be brought to Radius to sign in (or create an account), and the connection finishes the same way — your properties land in the Hospitable Properties list, ready to import.

Frequently asked questions

Does connecting change anything on Hospitable or my other channels?

No. The sync is one-way — Radius only reads from Hospitable to keep your Radius listings current. It never edits your Hospitable account, your Airbnb/Vrbo/Booking.com listings, or your availability on those channels.

Will this import my existing reservations?

It imports your availability, not the bookings themselves. Stays booked on your other channels show up as blocked dates on your Radius calendar so you can't be double-booked, but they don't appear as Radius bookings.

How is the Hospitable connection different from the Airbnb one?

The Airbnb row syncs Airbnb listings only. The Hospitable row syncs every property you manage in Hospitable, across all of your channels — so it's the better choice if you run more than Airbnb through Hospitable. You use one or the other, not both at once.

Do I still set my own pricing and policies on Radius?

Yes. Importing brings over your property details to save you setup time, but you confirm your Radius pricing, cancellation policy, and house rules when you complete each listing before it goes live.

How quickly does my calendar update?

Radius refreshes a property's availability automatically whenever a stay is booked, changed, or cancelled on a connected channel. You can also trigger a refresh yourself any time with the Refresh from Hospitable or Sync Calendar buttons.
