TL;DR: Radius stores your contact and booking information and nothing more sensitive. Stripe handles every payment detail. Radius does not collect or store government IDs, and it does not sell your data.
Who this is for: 👥 Booker 🏠 Host 📋 Admin
This is a plain-language summary of what Radius collects, what it does not, and who handles the sensitive parts. It is a helpful aid only, not a legal document. The Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy govern, and if anything here differs from them, they control.
What Radius collects
Account and contact information: your name, work email, phone number, and company.
Booking information: the stay dates, the listing, the guest's name, and the messages between you and the host.
Agreement records: the rental agreement you sign and the Terms you accept, so both sides have a record.
What Radius does not collect or store
Payment details. Radius does not collect, store, or process bank account or card numbers.
Government IDs. Radius does not collect or store driver's licenses, passports, or other identity documents.
Background or credit checks. Radius does not run identity, background, or credit screening on guests.
Who handles payments
Stripe collects and stores all payment details. When you pay by ACH or card, you enter those details in Stripe's secure form. Radius receives a confirmation that the payment went through, not the account number.
Stripe also verifies each host's identity and bank account before the host can receive payouts. Radius only sees whether that onboarding is complete.
Who handles ID verification
Hosts that require ID verification run it in their own third-party tool (for example, Autohost). The guest completes the check directly with that provider. See Screening guests with ID verification.
Radius will add a third-party ID-verification partner in the near future. When it does, the provider will collect and verify the ID on its own systems. Radius will not store or process the ID.
How long Radius keeps your data
Your account data stays while your account is active. Message threads, signed agreements, and transaction and payout records are kept as long as the law and our Terms require.
How Radius protects your data
Encryption in transit.
Access controls on who at Radius can see your account.
Payment details are tokenized and held by Stripe, not Radius.
Radius does not sell your data
Radius does not sell your personal information. Section 13 of the Privacy Policy covers GDPR and UK GDPR rights, legal bases, and international transfers.
